ALISON BOYA SUN
Alison Boya Sun is a creative director and producer based in New York City, known for her engaging storytelling in film and music. Her recent documentary short, "A Good Death," has garnered significant acclaim, with selections at prestigious festivals such as DOC NYC 2023, The Completed Life Initiative Film Festival 2024, and the Tokyo Lift-off Film Festival.
Alison's impactful documentary series “Asian Hate Crime” received notable attention from CBS New York, highlighting her commitment to important social issues. In the music industry, she has collaborated with Red Bull Music to produce the Red Bull Culture Clash NYC. She has also work independently with different artists on their music videos and other visual contents.
She is particularly proud of her work on Live House by EST, where she conceptualized and developed the brand, directed and edited its content, and successfully launched the platform. Under her leadership, Live House has attracted over 500,000 views across all platforms, providing a vital space for emerging indie Asian artists. In addition to her film and music endeavors, Alison has also collaborated with notable organizations such as 88rising, EST Media, character media and OpenSuper App, further solidifying her impact across various creative industries.
